LIVING WITH DYING: A Retreat for Clinician Resilience, Compassion and Mindful Self-CareFriday, September 22, 2017 - Sunday, September 24, 2017This retreat will provide professionals and volunteers who work with seriously ill and dying people a restorative weekend of mindful self-care practices in the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire to foster resilience in end-of-life caregiving. Emphasis will be given to developing tools for self-care through compassion and training in contemplative approaches to address burnout, compassion fatigue, empathic distress and other work-related stressors. Goals of this weekend will be to reconnect with the core of one’s caring and to build community and networks for continued support.
